The QINTAIX QY8 is a new Android 11 TV Box from Qintex company powered by Rockchip RK3568 SoS. Besides, the QY8 TV Box can be powered through its Gigabit Ethernet port which supports PoE (Power over Ethernet). Furthermore, the QY8 RK3568 media player boasts a maximum of 8GB RAM and a storage capacity of up to 64GB eMMC flash. It supports HDMI 2.1 and composite video output, along with an audio jack and optical S/PDIF for enhanced audio experiences. The device also features WiFi 6 wireless connectivity for seamless internet access and a selection of USB 3.0/2.0 ports. To ensure accurate timekeeping, it incorporates an RTC (Real-Time Clock) with a backup battery.
QINTAIX QY8 RK3568 Android 11 TV Box Details
So far, we’ve had the opportunity to show you some devices from Qintex, including the QINTAIX R33 Android TV Dongle and the QINTAIX Q9S PRO. Unlike older models, the latest QINTAIX QY8 has a more efficient processor and offers a larger field of application. Inside we find the well-known Rockchip RK3568 SoC AI chipset. It is a quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A55 processor that integrated co-processors (GPU, VPU, NPU), and has a frequency up to 2.0GHz. The chipset is known, among others, from the Firefly Station P2 / P2S model, as well as from the UGOOS T8 media player.
QY8 TV Box runs on Android 11 OS and is available in two versions. With 4GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage, and with 8GB RAM and 64GB eMMC. The Android media player supports up to 4K@60fps H.265/HEVC, H.264, VP9 video decoding. As we have already mentioned, the device offers wireless connectivity Dual Band 802.11ax 2T2R WiFi 6 (also has 2 external WiFi antennas), Bluetooth 5.0, and Gigabit Ethernet which can simultaneously power the device (supports PoE).
