Firefly unveils a new Station PC called Station P2S Mini PC. It looks identical to Firefly’s Station PC P2 and has the same Rockchip RK3568 SoC, but it offers other features. What can be noticed is the different locations of the interfaces and the presence of a port for the SIM card. That’s right, Station P2S supports 4G LTE connectivity. In addition, P2S has one external antenna and instead of WiFi 6 supports dual-band 802.11ac WiFi 5.

As we mentioned, Station P2S has the same aluminum fanless design as Station P2 with dimensions of 142 * 89 * 35.5mm. It does not take up much space both on the desk and in the backpack. Inside we also find the same high-performance Rockchip RK3568 quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A55 processor with a frequency of up to 2.0GHz. Besides is integrated with dual-core Mali-G52 GPU, high-performance VPU, and high-efficiency NPU. The GPU supports OpenGL ES3.2/2.0/1.1 and Vulkan1.1. The VPU can achieve 4K 60fps H.265/H.264/VP9 video decoding and 1080P 60fps H.265/H.264 video encoding. The NPU, with 1TOPS computing power, supports one-click switching of mainstream frameworks like Caffe/TensorFlow.
In addition, the P2S Mini PC comes with up to 8G RAM LPDDR4 and up to 128GB eMMC storage. Besides the device supports M.2 NVMe SSD, 2.5-inch SATA 3.0 SSD/HDD, and also has a TF card slot. Both P2S and other Firefly’s Station PCs give you system freedom. No matter if you are a fan of Android / Android TV, Linux, or any other OS, you can install them on Station P2S without any problems. The Firefly team has prepared a lot of ROMs that you can use.
In addition, P2S supports dual Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and dual-band 802.11ac WiFi 5. The device also uses 4G LTE connectivity (has a SIM card port). Depending on the requirements of the project, sometimes this is the only option for providing an Internet connection.
Despite its small size, the P2S Mini PC does not lack interfaces and ports.
