The 8K TV boxes are coming. After SDMC and SEI Robotics unveiled the first TV Boxes based on S928X SoC, soon we will be able to see new devices on the market. Shenzhen Tomato showed a new PCBA board designed for 8K TV Boxes called YB910_428_V1.0. YB910 is an Amlogic S928X penta-core Cortex-A76/A55 board that offers up to 8GB RAM, an HDMI 2.1a port, Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, optical S/PDIF, a 3.5mm audio jack, a few USB 3.2/2.0 ports.

Shenzhen Tomato manufacturer, has revealed that the YB910 board is designed to run Android with a 4K graphical user interface (GUI), deviating from the conventional 1920×1080 resolution. Based on previous announcements, it is highly likely that the YB910 board will be compatible with Android 13, further enhancing its performance and capabilities.
