Recently, Evolution Digital company to its portfolio introduced a new Android TV streaming player with the latest Amlogic chipset. The company already has several Android TV Boxes based on the older S905X2 chipset. While the new EVO FORCE 1 streaming player thanks to Amlogic S905X4 SoC, introduces 4K AV1 decoding up to 60fps. Besides, this Quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor (up to 2.0 GHz) with ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU support also 4K VP9, HEVC decoding.
Interestingly, the new Evolution Digital’s streaming box support HDR10 / 10+, HLG, Dolby Vision, Dolby Digital/Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos (pass-through), and DTS (optional).
Just like the previous eSTREAM 4K streaming player, also EVO FORCE 1 comes with TiVo remote control – TiVo Creek. Many of you associate this Bluetooth voice remote control with the TiVo Stream 4K device.
Evolution Digital streaming box probably runs on Android TV 10, maybe Android 11 TV OS with TiVo overlay or pre-installed TiVo app. The device offers also a built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant. The EVOFORCE1 device has Google and Netflix certification and supports 4K streaming from popular services.

Under a small housing that measures 96 x 96 x 18mm, we will find in addition to the aforementioned chipset, 2GB RAM DDR4 and 16GB eMMC storage. Interestingly, the streaming player supports 2T2R MIMO WiFi 6 802.11ax (EasyMesh Certified). Besides, has Fast Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Among the I / O ports, we find a micro SD card slot, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.2, SPDIF, AV port, and 5V/2A DC jack.
