The GMK NucBox K4 is the new powerful GMKtec’s “K” series Mini PC. NucBox K4 packs the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS “Phoenix” processor featuring 8 Zen 4 CPU cores and Radeon 780M integrated graphics based on RDNA 3 architecture. It is worth adding that the same processor will be found in the recently released MINISFORUM UM790. In addition, NucBox K4 Mini PC supports up to 64GB RAM DDR5, WiFi 6, and a triple 4K@60Hz display. Besides, GMKtec K4 Mini PC is now available for $519 (barebone) and up.
Availability and price
The recently released GMK NucBox K4 Ryzen 9 7940HS Mini PC is available for sale in several online stores, starting at $519 and up. The initial price is for the barebones version, i.e. without RAM and storage.
First of all, K4 Mini PC can be found on the official GMKte’c website in two variants. In the barebone version ($519) and with 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD for $689. In addition to the mentioned versions, in the official GMKtec store on Aliexpress, you will also find NucBox K4 in a configuration with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

When it comes to design, the NucBox K4 does not stand out from the other members of the “K” series. We are referring to the previously released Mini PCs, NucBox K1 and NucBox K2 based on Ryzen 7 processors. Measuring a compact 123 x 112 x 43.2mm, the GMK NucBox K4 Mini PC boasts an all-metal chassis, ensuring durability and effective heat dissipation. Featuring AMD’s 35-54 watt Ryzen 9 7940HS processor, the GMK NucBox K4 combines 8 Zen 4 CPU cores, 16 threads, support for speeds up to 5.2 GHz, and 2.8 GHz Radeon 780M integrated graphics with 12 RDNA 3 compute units. This remarkable hardware configuration ensures seamless multitasking, high-speed performance, and stunning visuals for demanding tasks.
Besides, the system includes two SODIMM slots, accommodating up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory, and up to 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. This enables users to customize and expand their storage and memory to meet their specific needs. Worth mentioning that the top cover has a quick-release design. In addition, NucBox K4 Mini PC supports 802.11ax WiFi 6 (RZ608), Bluetooth 5.2, and 2.5G Ethernet. It is worth noting that the Mini PC supports 4K@60Hz triple display via 2x HDMI 2.1 and USB-Type C/ USB4.
