The Firefly Station P3 is another RK3588 Mini PC recently launched by Firefly. It’s safe to say that this is half of the Station P3D modular Mini PC, or rather its main module closed with a housing. Station P3 Mini PC is even more compact and still provides versatile use. Station P3 offers the same features as the main P3D module. P3 supports triple display up to 8K, HDMI-IN [email protected] video input, up to 32GB RAM, WiFi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, and more.
Firefly Station P3 RK3588 Mini PC Details
As we said, P3 is a compact mini desktop computer with dimensions of 127.6*127.6*45.5mm (half of Station P3D). The whole thing is enclosed in an aluminum housing and weighs about 0.7 kg. Besides, the Mini PC is powered by the well-known Rockchip RK3588 SoC (Octa-core 64-bit (4×Cortex-A76+4×Cortex-A55), 8nm lithography process, frequency up to 2.4GHz). In addition, chipset integrates ARM Mali-G610 MP4 quad-core GPU and a built-in AI accelerator NPU, providing 6Tops computing power.
Besides, the Mini PC supports up to 32GB RAM and 256GB eMMC storage. In addition, the storage can be expanded via M.2 PCIe3.0 NVMe SSD (2242/2260/2280) and TF card slot. It is worth noting that the Firefly Station P3 is another 8K Mini PC. Supports [email protected] H.265/VP9 video decoding and [email protected] H.265/H.264 video encoding, with simultaneous encoding and decoding capabilities. By the way, [email protected] AV1 decoding is also supported. In addition, the device supports triple output video display up to [email protected] (HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, USB-C (DP1.4)) and an HDMI-IN video input.

Station P3 RK3588 is great for entertainment (as a game console), edge computing, industrial control, VR console, cloud terminal, and more. Like other Firefly’s Station PCs, the P3 also works with various operating systems available on the market. Station P3 supports Android 12.0, Ubuntu (Desktop and Server), Buildroot, RTLinux, and customized Linux (Debian, Kylin, UOS, etc.). It is possible that it will ship with Station OS by default.
