In the latest release of the Station Update Log 01/25/2024, Firefly introduces the Station OS v1.5.0.11 update for the Station M2 Mini PC. Station OS seamlessly combines classic PC features like desktop, multi-window support, and mouse/keyboard compatibility with the rich Android app and game ecosystem, offering users a dual Android and PC experience. The new Station OS update introduces a completely redesigned user interface, featuring a TV home screen, Movie Library, Downloader, and File Manager.
Station OS Update (v1.5.0.11) for Firefly’s Station M2 Mini PC
Primarily designed as a work and entertainment system, Station OS seamlessly integrates media and desktop modes. While initially developed for the Station M2 Mini PC, Station OS extends compatibility to other Station PCs, including the Station M3. What enhancements are featured in the latest Station OS update v1.5.0.11, released for the Station M2 Mini PC? Refer to the changelog below:
- UI update: TV home screen, Movie Library, Downloader, and File Manager.
- TV Home screen: You can add or replace Apps on the home screen. We add online movie search and smartphone file transfer functions.
- Downloader: Integrate Thunder and Aria2 downloading methods and support multiple magnet links and torrent formats.
- Movie Library: Add an all-file browsing feature and support local NFO file reading.
- Plugins center: Add a hard drive sleep mode plugin for mechanical drives.
- File Manager: Add 115 Disk, video playback record, and disk file sorting functions.
- Video Player: Improve video decoding, subtitles, and handling of audio tracks.
Some Features
- Add multiple magnet links: Input each link on a new line in the same text box, and click OK; multiple magnet links will be downloaded.
- Smartphone file transfer: When your phone and device are connected to the same local network, you can use the scanning feature on your mobile browser to upload video and audio files to your device.
- Video playback record: Go to the File Manager, and press the remote’s menu button.
- Movie Library’s all-file browsing feature: When you add storage devices and other files such as DLNA and Samba, all files from local and network-connected devices will be displayed in Files.
