In late August, we wrote about the operating system from a chip maker Rockchip called Light Work OS. Today, little new information about Light OS related, this time with TV Box, and exactly with the ZIDOO X6 Pro (review here)
Light Work OS is a very promising system, which is a modified version of Android Lollipop offering solutions familiar with the Microsoft system. As writes ZIDOO company X6 Pro TV Box will support two systems: Light Work OS and Android 5.1 Lollipop. ZIDOO X6 Pro Dual OS will allow switching between systems, allowing the use of X6 Pro to business (Microsoft Office) and entertainment (games, Kodi).
It’s an interesting solution probably is the result of close cooperation ZIDOO and Rockchip. The idea to use the X6 Pro TV BOX equipped with Rockchip RK3368 as Biz mini PC and media center is an interesting alternative to the typical mini PC working on Windows 8.1 / 10 and the Android TV Boxes. Several features that we can receive by using Light OS:

Complete with a Start Menu and System Tray, our taskbar allows you to find and start all your apps from one location on one side while managing everyday system settings and connectivity on the other.
- Limitless multitasking – Light OS multi-window support means you can spend less time switching between screens and more time multitasking. That means you can work on a presentation in Office, conduct research on Browser,
- Mapping all the shortcuts – Light Work OS comes fully compatible with a multitude of familiar keyboard shortcuts. Such as CTRL+C CTRL+V ,we’ve made sure to take no shortcuts in giving you the ability to perform faster and better while interacting with your favorite apps on a keyboard.
- The right-click and double-click done right – While a mouse is designed to give you added precision, it can also always give you more functionality. We’ve given the right-click back to you on Android. Access additional features to your beloved apps using the right-click throughout Light OS.
