TOX3 S905X4 Android Media Player Features
First of all, the TOX3 TV Box looks identical and has the same housing as the TOX1 media player that we tested. However, compared to the TOX1 (S905X3 SoC) inside we find the latest AmlogicS S905X4 SoC. This Quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor 2.0 GHz with ARM-G31 MP2 GPU support up to 4K @60fps AV1, VP9, HEVC decoding with HDR10/10+ and HLG. As we mentioned, it is offered with 2GB RAM DDR3 and 16GB eMMC (TOX3 Lite), as well as with 4GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage.
Besides, the new media player runs on Android 11 OS and supports Dual-band WiFi 5 802.11ac (with multi-user MIMO Technology, RTL8822BS). In addition, it supports Bluetooth 4.1 and Gigabit Ethernet. As before on the TOX1, the new TrustOnX TV Box also features a digital LED display on the front panel. Probably Android TV Box will have additional features like in previous models, including LED display settings, hardware monitor, system bars, ROOT, and SAMBA server. The device includes the following ports:
- HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2)
- USB 3.0
- USB 2.0
- TF card slot
- RJ 45 Gigabit Ethernet
- DC jack
