Recently, a new firmware for Vontar X4 has been released, update 20230105. In addition, the same firmware also applies to HK1 RBOX X4 and TranSpeed X4 TV Box. All models have the same feature and are powered by Amlogic S905X4 SoC and run on Android 11 OS. The update is available as a .img file for PC flash firmware.
Availability and price
Both Vontar X4 and HK1 RBOX X4 and TranSpeed X4 can be found on Alixpress. As for the Vontar X4, prices start at $53.87 (4GB/32GB). There is also a version with 4GB RAM and 128GB eMMC storage for $70.03. Prices can be reduced by available discount coupons on the site.
The devices are also available with additional accessories such as a Bluetooth backlit keyboard, G10S voice remote control or G21 voice remote control.
Vontar X4 / HK1 RBOX X4 / Transpeed X4 Android 11 TV Box Details
The specification is similar to other Android TV Boxes based on the same chipset. In addition to the Amlogic S905X4 SoC (supporting AV1 MP-10@L5.1 4Kx2K@60fps) with ARM Mali-G31MP2 GPU, we find 4GB RAM DDR3 and 32GB – 128GB eMMC storage.
