The Chuwi CoreBox 4th is a new Chuwi’s CoreBox Mini PC now based on Intel Core i3-1215U Alder Lake Processor. Chuwi CoreBox 4th Alder Lake Mini PC Overview Features
Design-wise, the new CoreBox 4th-gen still offers compact dimensions, 173 x 158 x 73mm (6.8 ‘x 6.2′ x 2.9’). Weight about 865g. Besides, features a black and gray chassis made from aluminum-magnesium alloy and polycarbonate (plastic). The heart of the new Chuwi CoreBox Mini PC is the Intel Core i3-1215U processor, which offers 6 cores and 8 threads (Max Turbo Frequency 4.40 GHz, 10 MB cache). Besides, it has Intel UHD integrated graphics with support for speeds up to 1.1 GHz and 64 execution units. And while it’s nominally a 15-watt processor, Chuwi says its mini PC, as configured, will let the chip use up to 35 watts.
Besides, CoreBox 4th comes with16GB RAM LPDDR5, and 512GB M.2 2280 PCle SSD. Additionally, has 2.5 “SATA HDD slots (SATA 3.0 6.0Gb / s). Along with replaceable M.2 (up to 1TB) supports friendly upgrade. Mini PC comes with Windows 11 Pro OS pre-installed.
Chuwi says, that CoreBox 4th has unique cooling features, including a large fan to boost airflow, and a new thermal module with an aluminum heatsink for more efficient conductivity. As we mentioned, the new Chuwi CoreBox 4th supports 4K @ 60Hz triple display via HDMI, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt 4 (up to 8K output). In addition, the Mini PC supports 802.11ax WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 (via Intel AX201), and Gigabit Ethernet. Besides, Chuwi CoreBox 4th includes ports:
- Thunderbolt 4 port (that can be used for external graphics docks or other accessories)
- 4x USB 3.0 Type-A ports
- Gigabit Ethernet
- DisplayPort
- HDMI 2.0
- 3.5mm mic and audio jacks
It is worth adding that CoreBox 4th generation Mini PC supports a 65-watt power supply. Just connect the thunderbolt 4 port through the PD charger to provide power. A 65W / 100W PD adapter is recommended to power it.
Availability and price
Chuwi CoreBox 4th Mini PC pre-order now for $399. It has a retail price of $449, but folks who pre-order now can save $50 and pick one up for $399.
