At the beginning of January 2016, we reported on the new PC Stick from Zotac. Today we can confirm those information. Indeed ZOTAC launches on the martket two models of PC Sticks called ZOTAC PI220 and ZOTAC PI221. Both PC-on-a-stick are visually similar to each other, but also have differences. As you can see, both models feature an Ethernet port, which previously saw in the PC Sticks from Melee. This is a good feature, because sometimes you need is an Internet connection via cable.
ZOTAC PI220 PC Stick has a built in fan and measures 5.2″ x 1.7″ 0.62″. The ZOTAC PI221 (ZBOX-PI221-W3B) is a fanless PC Stick and is a bit thicker, at 0.67″ to allow extra room for air flow. Both PC Sticks feature Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processors, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of eMMC storage, and Windows 10 Home 32-bit software. Both models have an HDMI connector, 10/100 Ethernet jack, USB 3.0 port, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a micro SDXC card reader. There’s also a micro USB port for power and a detachable external antenna. Zotac hasn’t announced the release date or retail price of its new PC sticks yet.
