At the end of July, we presented a review of a very interesting TV Box with many features called Zidoo X1. Also we mentioned about the problems with Kodi in Zidoo X1 that resulted from hardware acceleration enabled by default – ZD Codec = ON.

Also, there were problems with playback H.265 video. On 08/06/15 we have received from Zidoo new version of Kodi for Zidoo X1.

After testing, we can safely say (what you mentioned earlier – Zidoo cares about the user, and is trying to fix problems that affect their devices) that the received version is corrected and solved first and foremost our problem with H.265 video playback.

Issues that are fixed in the new version Kodi:

Fixed problem with the hardware decoding and playback buffer, now has to go soft.
Support H265 and wmv3 by ZD Codec. Just improve the video compatibility

After installing the new version Kodi (ZDMC-armeabi-v7a_20150806.apk – 08/06/15) and turned ZD Codec = ON, acceleration is working properly and H.265 video is played stably and smoothly.
