Xiaomi, a brand that works in many fields, recently unveiled its first Mini PC. In addition to streaming devices, Xiaomi has also entered the mini desktop computer market. We hope this is not the first and last device. The first Xiaomi Mini PC XM22AL5S is powered by an Intel Core i5-1240P Alder Lake processor. In addition, the device is to offer up to 64GB DDR RAM and supports a 4K quad display. In addition, it runs on Windows 11 OS. Interestingly, the new Xiaomi Mini PC device can be found on the MINIXPC store for $549.99 (barebone version) and up.
Availability and price
The first Xiaomi’s Mini PC can be found on the MINIXPC store for $549.99. This applies to the barebones version, i.e. without RAM and storage. In addition, there is a version of the Xiaomi Mini PC equipped with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD for $649.99.
The device is expected to be delivered in early January. Xiaomi’s mini desktop computer will come pre-installed with Windows 11 Home Chinese Language Edition software. After purchase, MINIXPC offers help to install the English version of the system for free.

Xiaomi Mini PC XM22AL5S Overview Features
First of all, the first mini computer from Xiaomi is a NUC-sized Mini PC measuring 112 x 112 x 38mm (weighs 437 g). It is easy to carry and does not take up much space on the desk. And without a doubt, its design and price can compete with the Apple Mac Mini. As we mentioned, the heart of Xiaomi’s XM22AL5S Mini PC is an Intel Core i5-1240P (28W, 12-core, up to 4.40 GHz) Alder Lake processor. Effectively one of the weakest Alder Lake-P processors, the Core i5-1240P has 4 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 16 threads, plus an Iris Xe Graphics G7 iGPU that contains 80 Execution Units (EUs). Additionally, the Xiaomi Mini Host has 512 GB of PCIe 4.0 storage and 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. However, the device supports up to 64GB of RAM.
In addition, Mini PC supports a 4K quad display via 2x Thunderbolt 4 and 2x HDMI 2.1. Thanks to an Intel AX211 wireless card, the mini PC supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. And the computer’s ports include:
