[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ecently, the Chuwi brand announced the upgraded LarkBox X Mini PC. An upgraded version of this tiny mini PC that came out in February now offers the Ryzen 7 3750H CPU and AMD RZ608 WiFi 6. In addition, the new improved LarkBox X also comes with DP, HDMI, and a full-featured Type-C Port, and supports triple-screen up to 4K @60Hz output.
New Upraded Chuwi LarkBox X vs February version LarkBox X Mini PC
When it comes to design, it’s hard to find differences. It’s still a small Mini PC that doesn’t take up much space on a desk or in a backpack. It measures 173 x 158 x 73mm and weighs 460g.
But, when it comes to using, the upcoming Chuwi’s LarkBox X is faster. The previous version of LarkBox X was powered by the Ryzen 7 3700U CPU. However, the upcoming LarkBox X version will be powered by Ryzen 7 3750H processor. When compared to the Ryzen 7 3700U, the Ryzen 7 3750H (up to 2.3 – 4GHz, 4 cores, and 8 threads) can offer up to 10 percent faster single-thread and multi-thread performance albeit at higher power demands.
Besides device comes with powerful AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics (1400Mhz). RAM and storage without changing. LarkBox X is built-in dual-channel 8GB DDR4 RAM+256GB PCIE SSD ROM. You can easily expand the RAM storage up to 32GB (2 x 16GB, Max 2400Mhz) and ROM storage up to 1TB.

The improved LarkBox X also supports active cooling. Uses 8 mm heat pipes, and an fan that efficiently accelerates heat transfer. CPU can run comfortably at a blistering 25 watts total TDP in Performance mode. Chuwi says with no throttling. However, compared to the previous version (which offered Intel 7265 Wi-Fi 5 wireless), the upgraded LarkBox X Mini PC is quipped with the latest AMD RZ608 Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Bluetooth 5.2. In addition, it offers dual Gigabit Ethernet (2x RJ45 port).
The upcoming LarkBox X Ryzen 7 3750H Mini PC offers a large number of interfaces. LarkBox X Mini PC has 4 USB 3.1 ports, a full-featured type-C port, 2x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, one 3.5mm audio output, display port ([email protected]), and HDMI 2.0 port ([email protected]).
Like the previous version, the latest LarkBox Ryzen 3750H Mini PC will ship with pre-installed Windows 10 Home but allows you to upgrade to Windows 11 as well as Linux / Ubuntu installation. Availability and price
Chuwi has not yet announced the launch price of the newer LarkBox X. However, it can be expected to sell for less than $500. More details on the product page.
