Ultenic K10 Review: First impressions and overview of features

When it comes to design and workmanship, there is nothing to complain about. The whole thing looks great. The K10 Air Fryer looks nice in the kitchen space. The entire case is made of glossy black. On the other hand, the ergonomic handle with a childproof lock is in a shade of brown. Together with the display on top, the whole fits perfectly and aesthetically. 

There is an air outlet at the back of the unit so keep the air fryer at least 10cm (4inch) away from the wall and the surface to ensure air circulation. The device has a large 5L / 5.3 QT basket, which is really roomy and allows you to prepare a large amount of food for the whole family. You can easily cook a whole chicken (medium size) or a large batch of fries for 4-5 people.

Both the basket and the grid have a non-stick coating. Food does not stick, which makes cleaning easier, but is still dishwasher safe. It is worth mentioning that they have a BPA and PFOA-free coating. The button on the handle allows you to remove the basket from the fryer. The bottom of the basket has four studs on which the grid is placed. The practical plate is equipped with a small handle that can be gently grabbed with the teeth of the fork so as not to burn yourself.

After removing the basket, we can see the inside of the Ultenic K10. The Air Fryer has a power of 1500W with Dual-Air Technology. Thanks to this, you can get dishes 4 times faster than classic ovens with 90% less oil for an equally satisfactory result. Besides, there is “the entire management center” at the top of the device. Operation and use of Ultenic K10

The Ultenic K10 can be controlled in 2 ways via the touch buttons on the top of the device and via the smart app on the smartphone. In addition, the device supports Google Assistant via Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can give voice commands to turn on / off the device. Both the control by touch directly on the device and the application are very simple.

As already mentioned, there is a “control center” at the top of the device, everything that will allow you to control the Ultenic K10 Air Fryer. The K10 air fryer control panel offers “+” or “-” buttons to set the temperature or heating time, as well as 11 preset programs for the main dishes that we will most often use:

• Chicken wings
• Steak
• Shrimp
• Fish
• Onions
• Pizza
• Bacon
• Baking
• Bread (= pastry)
• Vegetable

In addition, below we find 4 buttons:

• Preheat: By default, it is programmed at 205°C for 5 minutes with the possibility of modification. Select the temperature you want and the time will adjust automatically.
• Keep warm: for example while waiting for guests. The temperature is 75°C and you can choose a timer from 1 to 60 minutes.
• Start and Pause
• On / Off

The Ultenic K10 fryer is already configured to display the temperature in °C but has the option to switch to ° F. It is enough to simultaneously press + et – function for more than 5 seconds. A beep will confirm that your request has been granted. Repeat the operation to return to °C. Besides, the noise of the device during operation is not bothersome.

Together with the Ultenic K10 Smart Air Fryer, we receive a Recipe book that inspires with the attached recipes and helps in the preparation of the dish. In addition, the Ultenic app also includes (apart from the control) recipes and suggestions. We can choose the types of cuisine, the difficulty of execution, as well as dishes. Besides, you can customize cooking according to your preferences, as well as create and save your own recipes. Below are screenshots from the application.

As already mentioned, cooking/baking with the Ultenic K10 is child’s play. You can suggest a recipe book or an application. Below you will find some of the sample dishes we made during the tests. By the way, it is worth adding that the shake reminder is very helpful. Of course, whenever we want, we can shake the dish ourselves. When the basket is taken out, all work is automatically stopped. But, when you put the basket back, it automatically resumes.

Ultenic K10 Review: Conclusions

First of all, the K10 has a nice design, it is easy to use both directly through the top panel and the smartphone application. In addition, the available recipes via book and app make cooking and being inspired by the dishes easier. Device maintenance and washing is quick and easy, you can use the dishwasher. It is also worth mentioning the large XL 5L basket that allows you to prepare a really large amount of food.

If you are looking for an air fryer with smart features for yourself or your friends (for example as a gift) then the K10 air fryer is worth considering. At the current price, even more (now only for $89). Preparing dishes and operating Ultenic’s smart air fryer was satisfactory for us, so we can recommend Ultenic K10 Air Fryer.
