Trigkey is a relatively young brand whose devices are manufactured by Shenzhen AZW Technology CO., LTD company. That’s right, the same manufacturer supplies devices under the Beelink brand. Trigkey Speed S3 3550H First impressions, an overview of features

Trigkey Speed S3 has a compact size (measures 126 x 113 x 40 mm). On the outside, we have a housing made of good quality plastic, and on both sides, there is a metal mesh. The Mini PC on the front panel has a Power button, CLR CMOS hole, 2x USB 3.0, 3.5mm jack port, and power button. On the rear panel: Power adapter, 1x RJ45 Gigabit LAN, 2x HDMI 2.0, and 2x USB 3.0, and locking. In addition, the mesh on the sides of the housing provides good ventilation (the device has active cooling via a fan and heatsink). However, the TF card slot is missing. On the bottom, there are four screws to unscrew the cover and place 2.5 SATA HDD, M.2 SSD, or RAM. Our model comes with 16GB RAM DDR4 (Crucial) and 500GB storage (Kingston). Right now, we can tell you that the windmill is not very noisy. It is more audible while playing, but it is not disruptive.

Review Trigkey S3 3550H Mini PC Overview

During our use and testing, the Trigkey S3 Mini PC (3550H) did not cause any problems. Without a doubt, it’s a good Mini PC for everyday use. The device comes with pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro (activated).  The device downloads Microsoft Updates easily and correctly. During the tests, Windows 11 Pro runs without problems and is stable. Besides, there were no problems with Wifi and Ethernet connection to the Internet. We launched a few typical and frequently tested games: Asphalt 9: Legends, PUBG Mobile, and CS:GO (60fps). The games ran fast, without problems. However, this is not a gaming Mini PC, so it is worth considering when buying. 

Besides, the Trigkey 3550H Mini PC is good for streaming and video playback. It runs smoothly without any problems or CPU load (problems only when playing 8K video, for example, Youtube). To perform video tests we also installed version Kodi 19.4 “Matrix”. S3 it’s a good Mini PC for daily work and home entertainment. For people who want a universal device.

The Mini PC is upgrade-friendly. You can easily add RAM, change M.2 SSD and add 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. This Mini PC supports Auto Power On and Wake On Lan. Below you will find many screenshots, also BIOS photos, we encourage you to browse.

We also tested playback via Youtube 4K (2160p @60fps) on three browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Streaming was smooth in all browsers and without overloading the CPU. Unfortunately, when streaming 8K via Youtube, the CPU reached 100% use, the video did not load. Trigkey S3 Mini PC supports Netflix up to 4K HDR with Atmos via the Netflix app. Other streaming services like Prime Video and HBO Max support streaming up to 1080p. DTS / Dolby 5.1 passthrough worked fine via HDMI.
