We have good news, there is a new firmware for Zidoo X1 TV Box (v1.0.18 release). If someone has not yet decided or are planning to buy, ZIDOO X1 is available on Geekbuying at a price of $ 59.99.
For those who have not yet had an opportunity to look at the ZIDOO X1 remind its specification:

New firmware v1.0.18 (h3_v1.0.18) can be downloaded here. The next week the new firmware will be available for download via OTA online. What we find in the new firmware v1.0.18 update list:
Kodi:
1. Add zoom function for ZD Codec,you can set it through playback–>Display 4:3 videos as.
2. Optimized codec for some time shutter.
System:
1. Add the auto power off function, and you can set it when press the power key.
2. Update easycast, eliminating the occupancy of the 5050 port.
3. Optimize system level performance.
4. Repair some special cases caused by DDR without starting.
