TV Boxes with the new Amlogic S905X3 appeared in online store offers, including Beelink GT1mini-2 (at Gearbest for $73.99). With the announcement of the new GT1mini-2 TV Box, we’ve compared the S905X2 vs S905X3 SoC.
As you know Amlogic S905X3 compared to Amlogic S905X2, S905X3 SoC has better performance visible in benchmarks, and also supports Neural Network Accelerator (NNA) for AI. Cortex A55 has 15% to 20% performance improvement and simultaneously lower power consumption than Cortex A53.
The Neural Network Accelerator (NNA) is the most important change, as it should allow for better support for voice commands, language processing, or other workloads which AI will use. AI (artificial intelligence) is used for voice recognition in TV Boxes.

Summary
Overall, there hasn’t a big difference between S905X2 and S905X3 except for the last one with cortex-A55 CPU, frequency for DDR4 memory and AI. Therefore, the cost of S905X3 SoC is higher than S905X2.
