Today Formuler unveiled the new Z11 series of 4K streamers, more precisely the Formuler Z11 Pro Max and Formuler Z11 Pro. The new Formuler Z11 series comes with a new design, WiFi 6 support (Z11 Pro Max only), and a new MYTVOnline3 media-viewing platform. Like the Z10 series, the new 4K IPTV streamers are powered by the same Realtek SoC but in RT1319C SoC version, also with AV1 decoding support.
Formuler Z11 Pro Max and Formuler Z11 Pro Features (Basic comparison)
When it comes to design, the differences between the Formuler Z11 Pro and Formuler Z11 Pro Max are not great. Take a look at the photos below. The greater difference in design concerned the Z10 series. The differences between the Z10 Pro Max and the Z10 Pro were more apparent. Both Z11 Pro Max and Z11 Pro have a small housing (105x105x21mm). The new Z11 series is powered by the Realtek RTD1319C SoC. We don’t know much about the new RTD1319C chipset variant. It is certainly still a Quad-core Arm Cortex A55 processor, while it comes with a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU. Contrary to the previous chipset with the Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. Returning for a moment to the RTD1319C SoC, it supports 4K 10-bit 60fps AV1 / H.265 decoding (and not only) and also HDR, HDR10+, and HLG technology.
As for further differences, the Formuler Z11 Pro Max has 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. The Formuler Z11 Pro, on the other hand, has 2GB DDR4 RAM and 16GB eMMC. Another major difference between the models concerns connectivity. The Z11 Pro supports Dual Band 2×2 802.11ac WiFi 5, while the Z11 Pro Max supports Dual-Band 802.11ax WiFi 6. Both media players support Bluetooth 5.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. New Formuler Z11 series 4K media streamers runs on Android 11 OS, and comes with new MYTVOnline3 media-viewing platform with new features (more details here). Additionally, media streamery comes with embedded Widevine Level 1 DRM. Both models have the following I / O ports:
