I have NO reboot file in the yoka kb2 pro firmware when I open it to transfer to mem card. Please help.

Create Boot SD Card with Amlogic_SDcardMaker_BootcardMaker_burnBootCard_v1. 0.1

      You need the following files:
      1: BootcardMaker.exe
      2: langu.ini
      3: u-boot.bin
      _____________________________________

      You need TWRP.img S912 for Android 7.1
      Rename TWRP.img to recovery.img
      _____________________________________
Important: Not all SD cards work, no bigger than 16GB, I used an 8GB Sandisk

      SD card:
1: starts the boat card maker
2: Selects the SD card at the top.
      3: Hook on partition Yes
      4: Below Open File u-boot.bin
      5: Click Make

      Format Fat 32 done

Finally, you copy the TWRP file with the new name recovery directly to the SD card just as pure.

      SD card boot:

Turn off the Yoka KB2 Pro completely, insert the SD card, hold the front button. Turn on the box and when the Yoka logo arrives, wait 5 seconds, slowly count to 5 and then release.

      Good luck.

It worked for me 🙂 And if your going to do this please read carefully and please be patient.
When you download it. Choose to download it through your browser.
It may take a little while depending on their server and your internet connection.
    1. once downloaded the KB2 PRO_S912_3GB_03032017_AndroidTVBox.eu zipped folder Extract it.
    2. then you will see the new folder named the same but not zipped.
In the folder open it, then there is another folder called USB.
    3. Open that USB folder and in there are 3 items.
    (1. the factory_update_param.aml 2.(KB2_PRO-ota-20170303.101119.V0923) Zipped, 3 Recovery image)
Do not extraxt that zip file.
    4. Format a micro SD card via PC if you can and then add those 3 files on it as they are.
    5. ensure the tv box if off, Unpluged that is and insert the sd card in its appropriate slot.
get a toothpick or somthing that can insert into the reset hole on the rear of the TVbox thats in between the HDMI and AV. Make sure it clicks.
Last step. but please be patient when doing this do not this its stuck or frozen as its not, its just doing its thing after flashing.

6 Hold the reset in once it clicks and stay there. Plug the power plug in and do not let go of the reset hole until you see the update start.

This will take some time so please wait. It will seem that it has frozen on the logo after the flash. But its not, it just takes a while.
This worked for me first time.
The rteason I did it is because i played around withthe box as it came rooted and i unrooted it. then i wanted to put it back so i have to flash it withthe stock firmware.
The stock firmware when you flash it. installed it back the way it was as these are flashed rooted from the factory.

Good luck and tell me your thoughts. 🙂 😉

    Hi,
For anyone trying this ROM be careful of the apps:
    Bcenter and Mgmtsupport
Which run by default when the device is on and it is not yet known what they do. They might be some kind of mining software.

Thanks!!! I noticed this two also…

I’m having some trouble with this… I applied (with success) the 20170728 update.. (which is nougat 7.1) and I really didn’t like…
Wanna do an downgrade to this one (20170303).. but with no success at all.
First I got an Device id error (so I removed this line on script…lol)… now I’m getting a File verification error… (wondering to remove the ota_zip_check() also..)
    Anyone can share a tip?
I think my best option was put back the original stock rom… but where can I find this IMG or OTA update?
