MINIX NEO Z83-4 is a new Fanless mini PC powered by Cherry Trail Processor (IFA 2016)

Once upon a time we had no new information about the MINIX company. MINIX has did not betray details about the new devices in its portfolio. With revelations refrained to the IFA 2016 in Berlin. 2 September 2016 during an exhibition at the IFA 2016 in Berlin, MINIX company announced several new devices. One of them is the new model fanless mini PC equipped with a well-known Intel Atom X5-Z8300 Cherry Trail (64bit) processor called MINIX NEO Z83-4.

NEO Z83-4 is a typical mini PC in the MINIX style – high quality, attention to details and premium performance. The innovative passive cooling design of NEO Z83-4 realizes the perfect balance of speed, temperature, performance and absolute silence. Containing no moving parts, it seamlessly operates without a whisper of noise, while simultaneously maintaining an incredibly low operating temperature even when accomplishing the most strenuous tasks. Plus, MINIX NEO Z83-4 is unbelievably energy-efficient requiring 80% less energy than traditional desktop PCs.

Fanless mini PC from MINIX included 32GB of eMMC (5.0) built-in storage, 4GB of RAM DDR3L memory and pre-installed Windows 10 (64-bit) OS. NEO Z83-4 also comes packed with 802.11ac Dual-Band Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet, providing substantially improved connectivity capabilities compared to its predecessor, NEO Z64-W.
