MINISFORUM, the leader on the Mini PCs market, has recently announced the arrival of the new X500 Mini PC. The MINISFORUM X500 will be powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor.
The MINISFORUM portfolio includes the EliteMini X400, which also includes the AMD Ryzen 7 processor (Ryzen™ 7 PRO 4750G). As you can see in the image above, the upcoming EliteMini X500 will also feature an identical chassis to the X400 series.
Unfortunately, the MINISFORUM X500 specification is not available yet. However, we expect similar features and specifications (apart from the processor) as we see in the EliteMini X400. Certainly, 4K dual screen, (maybe quad 4k displays), DDR4 8GB × 2 Dual channel, M.2 2280 256GB SATA SSD, 1 × 2.5 inch SATA HDD Slot (SATA 3.0 6.0Gb / s), M.2 2230 WIFI Support, and more.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G vs AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
As you know recently MINISFORUM introduced the powerful EliteMini HX90 Mini PC powered by AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor. However, according to the tests carried out by VideoCardz, about which WCCF TECH also writes on its website, the 5700G processor does not perform too weakly with the 5900HX processor.
It is worth mentioning that AMD Ryzen 7 5700G also has 8 Cores and 16 Threads. However, compared to the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, 5700G has a base clock 3.8GHz and Max Boost Clock up to 4.6 GHz (Turbo).
Besides, It is also worth mentioning that Ryzen 7 5700G also integrates a Radeon integrated graphics card up to 2000MHz. However, the 5900HX is more efficient in graphical power due to the 2.1 GHz clock maximum which happens to be above 100 MHz higher than the 5700G model. When it comes to workload power, the Ryzen 7 5700G performs slightly better than the 5900HX model, including graphical workloads.
MINISFORUM EliteMini X500 Availability
We expect the new X500 Mini PC to arrive soon, but not a specific launch date. If these powerful Mini PC will be available and we will know its price we will give you know.
