Xiaomi Mi TV Lux Transparent Edition Some Details

Xiaomi’s new Mi TV Lux Transparent Edition has a 55-inch 4K UHD screen that is transparent. It is a special OLED panel that supports various new technologies, including HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and offers a wide viewing angle (up to 178 degrees). There was also Dolby Atmos support and DTS sound.
Overview of basic features
The transparent Smart TV is powered by the MediaTek MT9650 chip supported by 3 GB of RAM. The set of connectors includes 3 HDMI 2.1, 2 USB, and an Ethernet port. There is also Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and the whole works under the control of Android TV with the MIUI for TVs/Patchwall.
Transparent display, who the first
The technology of transparent displays itself is not entirely new and has been used for some time in shop windows and other public places. What’s more, it is used with both OLEDs and LCD panels, but on the latter, it does not look so impressive due to the need to use a backlight and thicker glass. Last year LG already showed a transparent OLED TV, but it was only a prototype that had not yet entered mass production and Xiaomi managed to overtake the Korean giant. Probably the Chinese company even used LG panels in its product.
