No Widevine L1 = No Amazon, Netflix, HBO, Sky etc… Go, Hulu etc… Etc… There is no real way to play any Games on this. Why would anyone want this over say a Xiaomi Mi Box, or an Amazon Fire TV? Both of which can do more than this, for about the cost of this, and without the Month long wait for it to ship outta China?

I can only speak for myself, but some of the first things I delete from the tv boxes that I purchase are Netflix, Hulu, etc. So this box would suit me just fine. In fact I just purchased the MeCool BB2 Pro which is similar to this device and I am very happy with it.
Also, these android based boxes will play just about any android game out there. You’re right about the month long wait for delievery from China though 🙁

As raw Kodi Boxes these are great Boxes for what they are. But, let’s be honest Amazon Prime for $99 a year for 4k Content is a bargain and, again Netflix for ~$10 a Month is also not a great loss. While they may not be everyone’s cup of Tea. Kodi itself isn’t all that any more, and in some circles it’s coming under more, and more attack. Such Add-ons that I used to enjoy are all gone now, and its becoming more unlikely that they will return. As Kodi really bites into their Ad revenue. Which is more a potty as there really isn’t any Android TV Apps to replace such Anime Streaming Sites. Outside of Crunchyroll.

Really though before I’d buy one these Boxes here I still would very much recommend the Mi Box, which should hopefully see better Support then say the MeCool (which I also have) has probably in all likelihood has been forgotten by this point. I sure wouldn’t count on any update to Nougat.

The MeCool KM8 P just got Nougat so maybe there’s hope for the BB2 Pro.
