KM6 Deluxe vs KM6 Classic Edition – which one to choose?
As you know, both MECOOL’s TV Boxes are powered by the new Amlogic S905X4, which supports 2GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM® Cortex™ A55 CPU, OpenGL ES3.2, Vulkan1.1, and OpenCL2.0, AV1 video codec up to 4K@120fps and VAD, ASRC/EQ/DRC, 2xHiFi4 Acoustic/Audio DSP. Both devices also run on Android TV 10 OS (Android TV functionalities, Google Assistant (voice commands via Bluetooth remote control), Chromecast, and the possibility of streaming video from popular services: Youtube, HBOGo/MAX, PrimeVideo, Netflix, etc.). By the way, Netflix only up to 540p, but that’s not a problem for everyone.
However, apart from the differences in design, the main differences can be found in the specification, which is better in Deluxe Edition. In this version, the TV Box is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage (new configuration 4GB/32GB), Gigabit Ethernet 1000Mbps, and WiFi 6 802.11ax. More about Classic Edtion here.
