KD5 Android TV Stick is powered by Amlogic S805X2 also supporting AV1 decoding and HDR10+. After a long wait, the KD5 FHD TV Stick (first mentioned after the end of September 2021) is finally available for pre-order.

Besides, on Aliexpress and Geekbuying KD5 Streaming Stick you will find it for $51.99. Now on promotion together with OTG cable.

MECOOL KD5 TV Stick Overview Features
Compared to the KD3 TV Stick 4K, the new MECOOL KD5 streamer has the same dimensions (92.5 * 29.5 * 14.5) but white housing. Besides, the Bluetooth voice remote is also white. MECOOL KD5 is also a portable Certified (Google & Netflix) Android Streaming TV Stick but now supports Full HD (1080p). The heart of the KD5 FHD TV Stick is the already mentioned Amlogic S805X2 chipset offering 1080p AV1 decoding.
Amlogic S805X2 is a Quad-Core Cortex-A35 CPU manufactured in 12nm and provides 32% lower power per core and increases 25% efficiency. It integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU.
The new KD5 FHD streaming TV Stick has only 1GB RAM DDR4 and 8GB eMMC storage. KD5 streamer runs on Android 11 TV OS with built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant. BTW, at the moment, there is no information on whether the KD5 FHD TV Stick with Google TV will appear. Besides, supports 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
