Kodi 17.6 Krypton – Final version now available

It took some time before the Kodi team announced the Kodi 17.6 Krypton final version. Kodi team write:” We are happy and sad at same time to announce that this will be the last v17.x release.”

Soon we will be able to download the alpha or beta of the new Kodi 18 version called “Leia”. The Kodi 18v will be named “Leia” in honor of the late Carrie Fisher, as a tribute to one of the characters that defined an industry, and as a celebration of the whole Star Wars universe.

Fixes done in Kodi 17.6 “Krypton” final:

• Fix possible crash in controller dialog
• Update standard scrapers to latest version available on release
• Fix possible connection issues with internal webserver
• Fix crash when peripheral joystick add-on is disabled
