The announced Khadas VIM4 A311D2 Single Board Computer is finally available. The latest Khadas VIM4 will offer Amlogic A311D2 chipset with Mali G52 MP8 (8EE) GPU and HDMI Input on board. Additionally, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and PRIME HDR video processing are supported, and TrustZone-based security is used for DRM video streaming. Besides VIM4 comes with 8GB RAM DDR4, 32GB eMMC and OOWOW embedded inside.
Khadas VIM4 is now available in two variants VIM4 Single Board Computer or VIM4 with VIM4 with Active Cooling Kit. The Early Bird prices are encouraging and are as follows:

Khadas VIM4 is visually not much different from VIM3 SBC. In contrast, it will offer the Amlogic A311D2 chipset. It is an upgraded Amlogic A311D Hexa-core processor. Amlogic A311D2 SoC is an octa-core processor with 4x Arm Cortex-A73 cores @ up to 2.2 GHz and 4x Cortex A53 cores @up to 2.0 GHz, Arm Mali-G52 MP(8EE) GPU, NPU shown as TBD possibly due to license requirements.
Besides, it will come with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB eMMC flash. In addition, we find Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 6, 4Kp60 HDMI input and output, independent USB 3.0, and PCIe (via M.2 socket) interfaces.
VIM4 SBC is the first Khadas single board computer to have OOWOW embedded inside
OOWOW is a standalone embedded service for seamless online OS delivery, device maintenance, and much more. OOWOW is developed and maintained by Khadas Team. Now installation much easier with OOWOW. You can download and install your preferred OS directly from the Cloud. OOWOW will start automatically if the device storage is empty. With OOWOW you will always be in control of your VIM4.
