Finally, the long-awaited Homatics Box R 4K Plus Certified Android Streaming Box is available for pre-order. Certified by Netflix and Google the Box R 4K Plus is powered by the S905X4 SoC with 4K AV1 decoding. In addition, the new Homatics streaming device supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio, Dolby ATMOS, and DTS. Interestingly, this certified Homatics Android TV Box offers WiFi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet support.
Price and availability
Unfortunately, we do not know much about the Homatics brand, and its products can be purchased mainly in European online stores. Streaming devices offered by the Homatics brand are based on the ODM devices from SEI Robotics. It is a famous producer of certified (by Google and Netflix) streaming devices.
New Homatics Box R 4K Plus Certified Android TV Box can be found on the Homatics website for $149.99 (pre-order). However, we have no information when the shipment will be processed. We only received information that the device is now available. [UPDATE 09/05/2022] The shipment is to be carried out from mid-September.
The streamer comes with a Power adapter, white G10 (Rock Candy) Bluetooth Voice remote, HDMI cable, batteries, and a quick guide. Also available for sale is the previous Homatics Box R 4K (2GB / 8GB) for $89.99.

Homatics Box R 4K Plus Streaming Box Features
First of all, the newest Homatics Box R 4K Plus has everything you’d expect from a streaming home entertainment device in 2022. The best Homatics streaming Android TV Box has an interesting and small housing (measures 114 x 114 x 28mm). Near the upper casing, there is an aesthetic looping RGB LED backlight. Whereas inside we find a well-known Amlogic S905X4 SoC Quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 with ARM-G31 MP2 GPU. This chipset supports 4K AV1 decoding (AV1 MP-10@L5.1 up to 4Kx2K@60fps). Besides Box R 4K Plus supports HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and what everyone has been waiting for – Dolby Vision. When it comes to sound it is also good. The device supports Dolby Audio, Dolby ATMOS, and DTS HD.
Unlike the Box R 4K (which has 2GB/8GB), the newest streamer has 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of eMMC. Compared to other Homatics 4K streaming devices, the newest Box R 4K Plus supports Dual-Band 802.11ax WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and Gigabit Ethernet. The device has the following I / O ports:

Streamer comes with the well-known G10 Android TV / Google TV reference design Bluetooth Voice remote control. The Bluetooth voice remote control has 4 dedicated buttons (Youtube, Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+) and the distinctive Google Assistant button.
