Is this a TV or a projector?

The L9G is a laser projector that comes paired with a projection screen. It’s not an emissive TV like LED/LCD or OLED – rather, it’s a new category of TV – high-brightness, ultra-short throw projection TV. When you want the biggest screen possible without breaking the bank, Laser TV is an excellent option. Source Hisense

Hisense L9G TriChroma Laser TV

Hisense L9G TriChroma Laser TV Projector series is based on the TriChroma RGB 3 Laser light engine (pure red, green, and blue lasers). This enables the L9G to achieve an astounding 107% of the BT.2020 color space resulting in images that are more realistic with improved color accuracy, depth, and brilliance.

The L9G 4K trichroma ultra short throw laser projector has a brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens. Despite the good brightness, the ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screen should be used to achieve amazing display effects in daylight and in a shaded room. The good news is that devices are sold with the ALR screen provided in the two options.
