Recently, we have recently received another Gravastar earbuds called Gravastar Sirius P5 Combo (3 Cases in 1). We are already tested, so we encourage you to read our GravaStar Sirius P5 review. Sirius P5 is another TWS earbuds from GravaStar that cannot be passed by indifferently. They have a new design but it is also futuristic in the sci-fi style.

Interestingly, Gravastar prepared interchangeable cases for Sirius P5. At the moment, Sirius P5 earbuds are the first on the market to offer interchangeable cases. The Combo version comes in a set of 3 cases with an amazing and different design. This is a lot of fun and allows you to change to your preferred shell at any time. GravaStar Sirius P5 Review: First impression, an overview of features

First of all, the new Sirius P5 offers a different design compared to the Gravastar Sirius Pro. We have a small charging case with wireless earbuds and extra interchangeable cases. In the tested Combo version we find 3 cases: Defense Armor (metal), Defense Mecha (plastic), and Defense Crystal case (plastic). Before we write a few words about cases, start with Sirius P5 earbuds core/charging case. Unlike the Sirius Pro which were in-ear earbuds, the Sirius P5 are open-ear earbuds and resemble Apple Airpods 3rd generation. 

In addition to the charging interfaces, the charging case is equipped with a charging indicator light / RGB light, reset button / RGB light switch on the bottom, USB Type-C charging port, and screw for fixing interchangeable cases. After removing the earbuds from the housing, you will find charging pins. Each earphone has an ENC microphone, button/light indicator charging, and a second microphone. More photos are below.

When it comes to interchangeable cases, they deserve attention. They have an amazing sci-fi design that also brings to mind Cyberpunk 2077. This is already a characteristic feature of Gravastar products. All of them have an extraordinary, unconventional, and futuristic design. The included screw allows interchangeable cases to be exchanged and held firmly. Unfortunately, the tool for tightening the screw is missing. However, you can handle it, for example with a coin.

We can choose from Defense Armor (metal), Defense Mecha (plastic), and Defense Crystal case (plastic). The Defense Mecha case on the top cover has lego-compatible tabs, but the hold is not very strong. We like the Defense Armor case the most. It is also worth mentioning that the side RGB light is very impressive (6 colors to choose from). As in the Sirius Pro, this functionality is also present here. Below are some photos.

GravaStar Sirius P5 Earbuds Features

The Sirius P5 earbuds can play music for up to 8 hours. A charged box (equipped with a 500mAh battery) has up to 40 hours of battery life. Charging time: 1.5 hours (earbuds), 2 hours (charging case). Compared to the Sirius Pro, the new Sirius P5 offers significantly longer listening time on a single charge. Find out more about the differences between earbuds on the Gravastar website. GravaStar Sirius P5 earbuds support Bluetooth v5.2 and SBC/AAC/APTX codecs.

It is worth adding that the Sirius P5 in-ear headphones are IPX4 certified (protects from splashing water, no matter the direction). As open-ear earbuds, it does not support in-ear detection. BTW, open-ear earbuds make no contact with the entrance to the ear or the inner ear, and they don’t require the tight fit needed for bone conduction. Despite the fact that when you put them in your ear, you have the impression that they will fall out soon, the Sirius P5 earbuds stick quite firmly and do not fall out.

This time the earbuds only have two gaming and music modes. We will not keep you in suspense, both in the music and gaming modes the listening is excellent. The sound coming out of the Sirius P5 is at a high level. Bass could be fleshier. It is worth adding that wireless earbuds have 12mm dynamic drivers. The gaming mode will undoubtedly appeal to players, it’s really great. Gravastar says it has 48ms low latency. Besides, you can Sirius P5 to 2 different devices, and then switch between them smoothly.

When it comes to voice calls. The voice during voice calls is very clear, we have no reservations. GravaStar Sirius P5 also supports ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) via dual microphone. Unfortunately, due to the small touch surface on the button of each earphone, the control requires some practice. Sometimes it is possible to miss with touch.

GravaStar Sirius P5 Combo Review: Conclusions

The Gravastar Sirius P5 is another great wireless earbuds with an unconventional and amazing design. The character and style of sci-fi give interchangeable cases. The reviewed Sirius P5 Combo allows you to change the cases (one of the three), depending on your preferences at the moment. Additionally, you can use a necklace. Sirius P5 as open-ear earbuds look great, and most of all they sound. The gaming mode is amazing. However, listening to music or watching movies is also at a great level, and there is nothing to complain about too much. As we mentioned, the controls require some practice to touch, but it is only a matter of frequent use. If you are looking for open-ear earbuds that both sound and look great, the Gravastar Sirius P5 is for you. They undoubtedly attract the attention of onlookers.
