Besides, GMK NucBox G2 offers 12GB DDR5 RAM (on board), expandable storage up to 2TB M.2 SSD, WiFi 6, Dual Gigabit LAN, 4K Triple Display, and more. Interestingly, the GMK NucBox G2 Mini PC comes with a replaceable red cover lid.

GMKtec NucBox G2 N100 Mini PC Features
First of all, GMKtec offered a compact mini desktop computer with dimensions of 3.42 x 3.42 x 1.55 inches. In addition, the Mini PC offers an easy, quick, and friendly upgrade through an easily removable cover lid. Inside, we find the often-described Intel Processor N100 from the Alder Lake-N series. Chip offer 4-core, 4-thread and supports CPU frequencies up to 3.4 GHz, and features 750 MHz Intel UHD integrated graphics with 24 execution units. Compared to the NucBox G1 which is powered by the 15W Intel N95 processor, the GMK NucBox G2 has a TDP of 6W. Below is a more detailed comparison of features.
Feature | Intel N100 | Intel N95 |
---|---|---|
Core count | 4 | 4 E-cores |
Base clock | 2.8 GHz | 3.0 GHz |
Turbo Boost clock | 3.4 GHz | 3.4 GHz |
TDP | 6 W | 15 W |
Memory support | Up to 16 GB in single channel | Up to 16 GB in single channel |
PCIe support | PCIe Gen 3 | PCIe Gen 3 |
In general, the N95 has a slightly higher clock speed and TDP than the N100. This means that the N95 may offer slightly better performance in some workloads, but it will also consume more power.
By the way, we remind you about Mini PCs powered by the Intel Processor N200, which, compared to the N100, supports speeds up to 3.7 GHz and features an integrated GPU with 32 execution units. That should give the N200 model a modest boost in CPU performance and a bigger advantage when it comes to graphics performance.
RAM, storage, and other features
This time, the 12GB DDR5 4800Mhz RAM is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded or replaced. On the other hand, SSD storage can be increased to 2TB via the M.2 2242 SATA slot. Besides, the device has active cooling through a fan, dual heat pipe and vents in the housing. GMKtec NucBox G2 is another Mini PC with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. In addition, this small mini PC supports dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a triple 4K@60Hz display (via HDMI 2.0 and DP1.4).
The device offers a wide range of ports, including:
- 3x USB 3.2
- 2x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet
- USB Type-C
- 2x HDMI 2.0
- DisplayPort1.4
- 3.5mm audio jack
- Kensington Lock
The GMK NucBox G2 N100 is expected to ship with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, although it also supports various Linux distributions. Despite its small size and weight of 216g, the Mini PC comes with a VESA mount that allows you to hide this little one behind a monitor.
