Giada is a brand with extensive experience in the world of mini PC. Giada offers a range of small form-factor computers including recent models with Intel Bay Trail and 4th-gen Core “Haswell” (Giada i200 model) chips. The company also recently showed off a prototype of an upcoming device that will feature an Intel 6th-generation Core “Skylake” chip (Giada i80 model) later this year (after Intel actually launches those chips). Other mini PC from Giada is a powered by Broadwell (current 5th-gen Core chips) called Giada i58B. Now Giada introduced another mini PC called Giada F200.
The Giada F200 is a fanless mini PC with a 4.3 watt Intel Celeron N2807 Bay Trail processor and 2GB of RAM. F200 measures 116.6mm x 107.2mm x 30mm. The Giada F200 costs about $110, but that price doesn’t include storage or an operating system. Mini PC supports both eMMC and mSATA solid state storage options.
Giada also has an optional 802.11ac WiFi module, an optional 3G mobile data card. The F200 also has two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, mic and headphone jacks, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and an HDMI port. There’s also an option for a VGA port. Giada has a metal case. The mini PC supports Windows 7 and later as well as Android or Linux software.
Giada F200 mini PC is dedicated to commercial solutions such as digital signage, but it was also an interesting alternative to a home media center computer.
