Today we want to introduce you the new model of TV Box Geniatech called Geniatech ATV1866. This is a new model (announcement) do not have it officially on geniatech.com, and there is no complete specification.
ATV1866 TV Box can also be found in the newsletter was Geniatech – 2015 angacom invitation letter (an invitation to ANGACOM 2015 in Germany).
What can you say about this TV Box, is that the Geniatech decided in this model usage Amlogic T866 processor. Charbax writes:“Amlogic T866 is a 28nm HKMG process Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU up to 1.8Ghz, with the Octa-Core Mali-450 GPU up to 600Mhz, HDMI 2.0 output, it support the [email protected] H.265 hardware decode”. Geniatech ATV1866 has a Dual HDMI input and one HDMI Output and also supports HDCP2.2.
ATV1866 can be used as the HDMI Hub to TV in the living room, it can have multi-source support PIP (picture in picture) in Android.
The box is running Android 4.4 now, Android 5.0 is upgradable in the near future. At the moment there is no accurate information, prices and specifications of the device.
