GammaTech has unveiled its latest ruggedized tablet PC that is aimed at workers in harsh environments. GammaTech Durabook R11 is not an ordinary tablet , and the device prepared in order to work in the toughest conditions. The device is available in four hardware configurations.

GammaTech Durabook R11GammaTech Durabook R11 housing meets (including military) MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65. This means that it is waterproof and dustproof and tolerate falls from a certain height. The device is available in four versions and each of them has a processor Intel Core 4th generation ( Haswell ), 4 GB of memory operating RAM, SSD with a capacity of 128 GB, Wi-Fi , Bluetooth , HD webcam for video calls and a camera of 5 megapixels . The GammaTech DURABOOK R11 rugged tablet PC features an 11.6” TFT LCD. The tablet works on the basis of a system of Windows 8.1.

The standard configuration GammaTech Durabook R11 is the ER11H0-52BM408J3 and it sells for $2199. The ER11H0-52BM4S8J3 version adds in a smart card reader and sells for $2398. The ER11H2-52BM408J3 version gets RF pass-through WWAN/GPS and 4G LTE with GPS for $2699. A version with the same gear as the previous version adds in a Haswell Core i7 processor, RF pass-through, and 4G LTE with GPS for $2999.
