Chuwi company at CES 2018 showed a lot of new devices, also a preview of the new mini PC called Chuwi GBox Pro powered by Coffee Lake processor (Intel 8th Generation Core i5 processor with HBM2 GPU).
The new (or rather its announcement) Chuwi GBOX Pro is a small form factor desktop, which has an interesting housing with eye-catching design. It will probably be equipped with 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor called “Coffee Lake” with HBM2 GPU (probably Intel® Core™ i5-8305G Processor). The sides of the device also look interesting, and probably through the sides of the device will be discharged warm air.
On the rear panel of the device we will find: 4x USB 3.0, 3x USB 2.0, Dual HDMI, RJ45 (10/100/1000 Mbps) port, audio jacks.
Probably GBox Pro will appear in April and will be available with remote control (just like the older Chuwi HiBox Mini PC). GBox Pro is not only a mini PC that we will see in 2018, this year will be Chuwi GBox Mini PC. Probably Chuwi company wants to mark its position on the Mini PC market. Chuwi now asks its users, what should be the specification and design of the new GBox Mini PC – Chuwi GBox page.
The new Chuwi GBox Mini PC will be powered by the new Intel Celeron N4100 Gemini Lake processor. At the moment there is a vote on how to look and what in addition to Gemini Lake processor will have GBox Mini PC – what case, RAM, OS, storage, etc. The largest number of voices gathered specification equipped:
- Appearance 2 Aluminum Magnesium Alloy
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB storage
- M.2 SSD expansion
- HDMI, VGA, Type-C, RJ 45, USB
- Windows OS
You can still vote for the Chuwi GBox specification on the GBox page. At the moment there is no information about the availability of the new Chuwi GBox, we hope that soon the Chuwi team will inform us about the final GBox Mini PC specification.
