The Chuwi brand recently introduced the 5th generation of its CoreBox Mini PC. The new Chuwi Corebox 5th is now available for purchase (presale) for $439 (after coupon: CB5THYYZK10 – $60 OFF). The 5th-gen Chuwi CoreBox Mini PC now is powered by a 13th Intel Core i5-13500H 65W TDP Raptor Lake processor. Additionally, it offers 16GB DDR5 RAM, 512G SSD, support for up to four displays, WiFi 6, and more.
Chuwi CoreBox 5th Mini PC Overview Features
To begin with, the outer appearance bears a striking resemblance to the fourth-generation CoreBox with dimensions of approximately 173 x 158 x 73mm (6.8″ x 6.2″ x 2.9″). However, the latest iteration appears to have increased in size, presumably to accommodate extra ports and improve cooling. In contrast to the previous year’s model, which featured a lower-power, lower-performance Intel Core i3-1215U processor operating at 35 watts, the new version seems poised to deliver enhanced capabilities.
Besides, with a 65W TDP, this mini PC boasts efficient cooling thanks to four copper nickel-plated heat pipes and an aluminum heatsink with 55-layer extended fins. The high-speed hydraulic bearing fan, running at 3400 RPM, maintains CPU temperatures for optimal performance.
The CoreBox 5th Mini PC is powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500H Raptor Lake processor. This 12-core, 16-thread chip boasts four Performance cores reaching 4.7 GHz and eight Efficiency cores with a max speed of 3.5 GHz. It also includes Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics with 80 execution units at 1.45 GHz. Although Intel typically suggests a 45-watt power base, this chip supports turbo boost performance up to 95 watts, making Chuwi’s higher power configuration a notable choice.
Besides, CoreBox 5th offers two SODIMM slots for dual-channel DDR5 memory, an M.2 slot for a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD and support for up to four displays up to 4K 60Hz (via two DisplayPort and two HDMI ports). Mini PC wspiera 802.11ax WiFi 6 via X201 wireless card together with Bluetooth 5.2, and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. Ports includes:
