First impressions, overview of features

AUKEY company has prepared a really great bluetooth speaker. The SK-S1 is a great speaker made with high-quality details, it looks very aesthetically. The speaker is quite large and heavy (compared to Xiaomi Square Box) measures 200 × 60 × 65mm / 675g. The Aukey SK-S1 Bluetooth Speaker is made of aluminum and steel. Around the speaker is a metal grill, under which there are two 8W drivers. On the top cover are function buttons: call button, Volume Down -, Volume Up +, Previous track and Next track, Multi-function button and Led indicator (blinking blue – paring mode, blue on – connected, green – connection via audio cable, red on / red off – charging / fully charged)

On one side there are: Power button, Micro USB charging port and AUX in. At the bottom of the speaker, there is a rubber stand that stabilizes the speaker and prevents sliding.

The great advantage of the speaker is the ability to connect devices such as mp3 players, or digital Hi-Fi Music Player (Dodocool DA106) through audio cabel and AUX in port. You can save your battery in a smartphone. The combination of these two devices is a great Hi-Fi system.

Of course, bluetooth playback works smoothly, the connection is stable. Function buttons work fine, for example, next / previous track. The AUKEY SK-S1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker has a built-in microphone, so you can easily to receive incoming calls (via call button) and talk through the speaker. Another great feature is built-in large 2000mAh battery which allows you to play over 8h music. This is also a bigger battery than in the Xiaomi Square Box speaker. As we mentioned at the beginning the speaker has a total of 16W, so it is quite loud and also has a very good, really good bass. So not only the moody music with a bottle of wine but also you will be able to realize a home party.
