More often beginning to emerge mini PCs equipped with a Cherry Trail processor. Recently we wrote about Tronsmart Ara X5 and MeeGopad T04. Today we want to introduce you to a new model mini PC format HDMI PC Stick from Asus. The new mini PC-on-a-stick called Asus VivoStick features an Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor and more ports than you get with most devices in this category. New Asus VivoStick looks nice and aesthetically.
Asus VivoStick mini PC-on-a-stick specifications:
- SoC – Unamed Intel Cherry Trail processor
- Memory & Storage – Single eMCP chip with 2GB DDRL3 and 32GB eMMC (no micro SD slot)
- Video Output – HDMI
- Audio Output – HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack
- Connectivity – WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0
- USB – 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x USB 2.0 port, 1x micro USB port (for power)
- Power Supply – 5V via micro USB port
- Dimensions – 138 x 15 x 14 mm
- Weight – 70 grams
The VivoStick mini PC Stick will run Windows 10. At the moment there is no information whether the cooling is passive or active.
This is not only an HDMI PC Stick from Asus. At the beginning of April, Asus presented the Chromebit PC Stick with Chrome OS at a price of $100.
Asus says the VivoStick – HDMI mini PC Stick will be priced at $129, but no release date has been announced yet.
