The Amlogic S905C2 SoC is another chipset supporting AV1 decoding and similar to the S905X4 SoC. However, it seems more dedicated to Hybrid Android TV Box that has DVB tuners.
The first generation of the Amlogic S905C SoC appeared on the Amlogic’s roadmap in early January 2018. At that time, the specification of this chipset was as follows:

Unfortunately, we do not have much information about the new Amlogic S905C2 SOC, but it seems that the specification is very close to the Amlogic S905X4 chipset. It’s probably also a Quad-Core Cortex-A55 12nm processor with an ARM Mali-G31 GPU. Besides, chipset also supports DDR4 RAM system memory. However, compared to the first generation S905C, it supports 4K AV1 decoding. In addition, it supports current standards such as HDMI 2.1, HDR10/10+, HLG, Dolby Vision, TCH PRIME.
As for DVB tuners, devices equipped with the S905C2 chipset should support 2x TS in, ISO7816 DVB-S2,DVB-T/T2/C,DVB-S2+DVB-T/T2C Combo,ISDE-T,ATSC-T.
Amlogic S905C2 Android TV Devices
At the moment, you can’t find too many devices that are equipped with the Amlogic S905C2 AV1 chipset. In parallel to the S905X4 Android TV devices, SEI Robotics manufacturer offers devices equipped with S905C2 SoC and DVB tuners (DVB-C).
Besides the mentioned SEI800 model, you can find Amlogic S905C2 Developer Box with Android OS and RDK (Reference Design Kit). Devices in which we can find S905C2 SoC or S905X4 SoC, in addition to space for DVB, tuners have a rich number of interfaces. The case seems large enough to fit an internal drive.
